Cheltenham & Gloucester Beer Week (CGBW) returns 11th–17th September and of course we’re joining in with the celebrations.

Throughout the week we will be showcasing some of the very best ales that Gloucestershire has to offer, including brews from breweries such as Goffs, Stroud and Gloucester. And we will have the CGBW Collaboration Brew (Five Each Way on Nectaron) while stocks last.

Beer Burger or Steak and Ale Pie & Pint Offer
Head Chef Craig and the team have been busy creating some beer inspired dishes. And when you buy a juicy Royal Beer Burger or a delicious Steak and Ale Pie, you can buy any pint of ale for half price!

Bar Games
We’ll have some fun bar challenges including Bar Mat Flip with some great beer prizes to be won.

Barking Mad Ale Trail – Saturday 16th September
We’ve teamed up with our sister pub The Exmouth Arms and have created our very own Ale Trail. Pick either of the pubs as your starting point at anytime on Saturday 16th September, then buy yourself half pint of beer and pick up your Ale Trail Entry Form. There will be a fun challenge to complete before you leave, then you’ll be sent off on the trail to the next pub, picking up some fiendish (not really) clues on the way. When you reach the second pub, complete another challenge and buy another 1/2 pint of beer. Return to your starting point and you’ll be rewarded with a gold star and a smile and – go on then; a free pint of beer! You’ll also be entered into a prize draw to win some great give-aways, including a meal for two. The Barking Mad part? Well, it wouldn’t be the same without our furry friends would it? Bring along your dog and there will be some prizes for the Best Doggy Fancy Dress and a doggy ice cream reward at the end.
